Do the Redbull BC-One Cypher qualifiers actually have the bboys cypher to get into the competition?
Not trying to be sarcastic or joke - just something I've been wondering..
能夠參加 Redbull BC One Cypher 的 Bboy 們，到底是以什麼樣的標準選出來的??
我並不是想要挖苦你們，也部是開玩笑，這只是我心中的一個疑問。

Profo Won: Jeff, 能夠參加這個比賽的人，並沒有用任何的標準來選擇。
Redull BC1 Cypher literally in non Hip Hop Terms means
Redbull BC1 Circle!
The stage is shaped in a circle!
So no one can really say anything
and to say something you have to understand this....
Redbull BC 1 Cypher, 在字面上，不以 Hip Hop 的標準來解釋的話，就是 Redbull BC1 Circle.
這代表著，他們的舞台，就是一個圓圈。
沒有任何一個人可以說什麼，你想要表達什麼，就在這裡面表達。
Since I can remember in the 80s till the early 90s in the West Coast no one called a circle a cypher until about 1993
After Wu Tang Clan, Poor righteousness Teachers ect.. had albums came out and brought knowledge of the Five Percenters ( An off shoot of the Nation of Islam)

Poor righteousness Teachersand other East Coast Rap Artists are Five Percenters
They have their own Numerology called Supreme Mathematics
從我有記憶以來，在 80 年代到 90 年代初期，西岸的人沒有人稱這個圓圈為 Cypher.
一直到 1993 年，Wu Tang Clan, Poor Righteousness Teachers 等人出了一張專輯，來傳導 Five Percenters (應該是 95%) 的教育理念 (此為伊斯蘭教)
Wu Tang Clan, Poor Righteousness Teachers, 以及其他東岸的 Rap 學者，將這個他們創造的命理學，命名為最高等級數理學 (Supreme Mathematics)
0 meaning circle or cypher
1 being Man-God-Sun-Knowledge
2 being Woman-Earth-Wisdom
3 being Child-Seed-Understanding
and so on...
0 代表的是一個圓圈
1 代表的是男人，上帝，與太陽所帶來的知識
2 代表的是女人，地球所帶來的智慧。
3 代表的是小孩，與播種的理解
Most Emcees freestyled in a what they called a "Cypher"Then the term assimilated into the Bboy Culture because of the Emcee
多數的司儀(MC)在主持這個活動是很隨性的，他們希望藉由 Cypher 讓 Bboy 能夠真正的吸收與了解知識。
And what does this have to do with Redbull...
所以這與 Redbull 的關係到底是?
Nothing they just took a term that Bboys use that came from the HipHop Language!
其實是沒有的，那只是 Bboy 們用來當成一個 Hip Hop 語言。
With Bboys not really understanding HipHop to the fullest anyway
Is it a tragedy that BC1 took the term "Cypher" for their competition?
Not really because most Bboys nowadays don't know how to be in a Cypher!
Bboys go into a cypher doing a showcase instead of feeling the vibe and picking up on the last mans energy or moves!
但是對於那些並沒有真正去了解 Hip Hop 的含意的 Bboy 來說，讓他們參加 BC1 並且在這個圓圈中比賽是否是一場悲劇?
其實並不是，因為現在大部分的 Bboy都沒有真正了解該怎麼樣做一個 Cypher.
他們走進這個圈子中帶來一小段表演，可是他們並沒有真正的用心去感受那份動力，與他所想要帶來的的能量與動作。
So in conclusion does anybody have to know about HipHop Culture or Cypher Culture to make it into BC1 the answer is NO!
That person just has to be winning a lot of competitions and people seeing that hes winning.
總結來說，你是否需要真正的了解 Hip Hop 文化與 Cypher 文化才可以加入 BC1 的比賽? 答案是否定的
你可以一直贏，大家也可以一直看你贏。
